Nomad Dome brings the Universe to the World

Stars gave direction, marked time and were used to record stories for every culture until now.  How we understand ourselves is tied to how we understand the universe.   As our night stars disappear under the artificial glow of "progress", we lose an important connection to being human.

INSPIRING

NOMAD DOME planetarium is more than just a science class.  We inspire.  Our inflatable planetarium transforms any gymnasium or large hall into an immersive Space-Time exploration machine.  We can set the controls of our digital sky to any place in the solar system and at any time to explore the wonders of the Cosmos.     

UNIQUE

We use improvisational techniques to tailor an experience specifically for each audience.  We don't use a boring script that has been read 1000 times before.  Instead, each show is inspired by audience suggestions.   From Alpha Centari to Zodical Light, we cover the content that YOU want to explore.   Teachers may request specific content to fit within their curricula, or may let the students choose based on their own curiosity about the cosmos.  

WORLD WIDE

Our presenter has over fifteen years experience teaching environmental science and astronomy in science museums and zoos around the world.  He has taught extensively in the United Kingdom and throughout the United States.  In 2013, he helped set up the first digital planetarium in East Africa.    Nomad Dome is willing to travel anywhere on our planet* where people want to understand more about our universe.
